I have used live chat and this and this messenger service is so much worse i dont have my phone at work so now have to contine go to where my pone is stored to see if a message has arrived, and if the message does arrive and your not giving a answer stright away its almost like you not worried any more about help.
If this is what Sky considers to be progress from live chat someone there is living in cloud cuckoo land, is it possible for you to have a help line where you can ask a question that gets answered right first time in a timely manner that doesnt need you to have your phone glued to your ear, Not a system that takes coming up to 24 hours needing you to be no more three feet form your phone to get a answer to a question that should be answered in 5 minutes.

Hi there, we haven't used Live Chat support online for a while because there was clear feedback from customers that it was very frustrating when it was greyed out because an advisor wasn't immediately available, and also because the customer has to complete the conversation in front of their browser in one session otherwise it closes and they have to start again.

Hi there, we haven't used Live Chat support online for a while because there was clear feedback from customers that it was very frustrating when it was greyed out because an advisor wasn't immediately available, and also because the customer has to complete the conversation in front of their browser in one session otherwise it closes and they have to start again.
We've moved to what is called "asynchronous messaging" which is like chat but means in most circumstances you can start the conversation even if an advisor isn't immediately available and then they contact you as soon as they are, and you can have the conversation at the pace of your convenience so if you can't answer straight away its fine and you can pick the conversation up where you left off.
We use SMS and Facebook Messenger at the moment, and are looking at WhatsApp in the future, so that you can go about your day and get notified when a message is through, replying when you have chance These options are presented within My Account and Help where the initial online help has been presented but a customer needs more support e.
